Amplify is partnering with Clover24 to host an open call for their inaugural group exhibition!


 

About Clover24

Clover24 is a 84,000 square foot space that connects artists and entrepreneurs to their communities. With dedicated studio, co-working, and exhibition spaces, Clover24 seeks to create a new hub for art and commerce in Omaha. 


 

About the Call

To celebrate its opening, Clover24 is launching a call for art for its inaugural group show, organized by Ilaamen Pelshaw and opening Thursday, May 29th. Omaha-area artists working in print, painting, photo, and sculptural media are invited to submit: 

  • Up to three works for consideration.
  • A short artist statement.
  • A works cited page that lists the submitted work's title, date, medium, dimensions, and price.


Submissions open Monday, April 21st and close Friday, May 9th at 11:59PM


There is no fee to apply. If selected artists choose to sell their work, they retain 100% of the sale price. Selected artists will be required to bring a snack or beverages for the event. A sign-up list will be provided.


 

About the Exhibition

Clover 24's Inaugural Group Exhibition is a celebration of Omaha's diverse and vibrant creative communities. The exhibition will be open to the public at Clover24, 2200 S 24th Street in Omaha during the following times:

  • Thursday May 29th / 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday May 30th / 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Saturday 31st / 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM


Selected artists must deliver their work ready for installation either Saturday, May 24rd or Sunday May 25th, 2025 from 10:30 to 6:00 pm.


If selected artists choose to sell their work, they retain 100% of the sale price.  Selected artists should provide a QR code with their preferred payment method (PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp) for all transcactions. If the selected artists do not provide a QR code, and the Clover24 team is required to collect the payment, there will be a 20% commission charge.


The Clover24 team members will be onsite during exhibition opening hours. Selected artists are encouraged to be in attendance for as much of the exhibition as possible but are not required to be present for the entirety of the exhibition. 


Selected artists will be required to bring a snack or beverages for the event. A sign-up list will be provided.


 

About the Review Process

All Omaha-area artists working in printmaking, painting, photo, and sculptural media are eligible to submit their work. The exhibition organizer and members of the Clover24 team will evaluate submissions and select work for the exhibition taking the following criteria into consideration:

  • Does the work demonstrate a strong conceptual grounding? 
  • Does the work demonstrate compelling formal relationships?
  • Does the work enhance diverse representational formats within the exhibition including printmaking, painting, photography, and sculpture?

  • May 9th, 11:59PM: Submissions close
  • May 9th - May 18th: Submission review
  • May 19th: Submission status updates delivered

About the Exhibition Organizer

Ilaamen Pelshaw is a Guatemalan-American artist based in Omaha NE, since 2015. Her background in commercial graphic design and illustration, lends itself to her characteristic representational and illustrative style. She is a storyteller and focuses on creating work that portrays colorful, everyday events infused with kindness and humor. 

Ilaamen has participated in more than 40 group exhibitions in Omaha, Lincoln, Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Monica, Portland, Miami and Melbourne FL, and 3 local solo shows, with collectors in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central America.
